In April 2022, we have sponsored and supported a Seafarer Covid Vaccination Project while visiting ships are alongside at East Arm wharf. This will provide protection to seafarers against severe illness and death from COVID-19 and to minimise any restriction for repatriation back to their home country. This project is a collaboration between shipping agents, volunteers from Mission to Seafarers (M2S), Darwin Port (DP), NT Health and Darwin Port Welfare Committee (DPWC). A big thanks to the MtS volunteers and Darwin Port.
We would like to advise all seafarers, Port staff and visitors to East Arm Port that "The Seafarers Centre" lounge is OPEN, with "Mission to Seafarers" support and volunteer staff.
The "Cafe" will remain CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
